We do not sell your personal information. We do use analytics and advertising technologies (described in Section 7) that may share limited information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. You can opt out of this sharing as described in Section 7.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information we hold about you.
To make a privacy request, email woof@houndandhudson.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time as described above.
7. Cookies and Online Tracking
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning properly, including for cart, checkout, session, and security purposes.
To make ordering seamless, our website also temporarily saves your in-progress book — such as your dog’s name and details and the photograph you upload — in your own web browser (using local browser storage) so your work is not lost as you move between steps. This information stays on your device and is cleared from your browser once your order is completed.
We also use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our marketing. These include Google Analytics, which helps us see how visitors find and use our website, and the Meta Pixel, which helps us measure the performance of our marketing. These technologies set cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view, and they share certain information with Google and Meta.
You can opt out of this analytics and advertising tracking in several ways:
- Adjust or block cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Manage your advertising preferences in your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) account settings.
- Use the industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor as an opt-out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Email us at woof@houndandhudson.com to make a privacy request.
8. International Visitors
Hound & Hudson is based in the United States. If you access our website or place an order from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
9. European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the following additional information applies to how we process your personal data.
Legal bases. We process your personal data to perform our contract with you (creating and delivering your book), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and recordkeeping), for our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving our business and preventing fraud), and, where required, with your consent (for example, marketing emails and any non-essential cookies).
Your rights. In addition to access, correction, and deletion, you may request data portability, object to or request restriction of our processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
International transfers. Because we are based in the United States, your personal data is transferred to and processed there. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, to protect it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at woof@houndandhudson.com.
